Defender Africa Foundation is a voluntary charitable, non-profit, non-partisan, non-racial development umbrella Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded by Kisakye Justine and Ojambo Andrew in 2018, whose policies are determined by the membership.
Defender Africa Foundation (DAF) is not against any government activity, any other companies’ activities, but rather a charitable organization that aims at supplementing on the government responsibility of people wellbeing.
Our expertise is one of the leading ones, specializing in the advocacy for education through children sponsorship, hygiene, voluntary social economic development, outsourcing and networking with putting much emphasis on a woman to be able to educate and support her family.
DAF also cares about the rights and well-being of women and children and youth by giving them necessary support where possible.
To enhance sustainable women-led economic empowerment within vulnerable communities.
To create a community in which every individual attains the right to survival, protection & development.
The executive committee is designed by all members and founders of DAF. They take over the role of the steering committee/board. The executive committee/board is the highest body of DAF. Since we are voluntary, charitable, nonprofit, non-partisan and non-discriminatory organization, our policies are determined by members, and our future sponsors/funders.
Therefore, the executive committee/board is the core decision making body of this organization.
All people in the world, particularly in Busia need strength, capacity, advocacy and networking for collectively developing our communities socially, economically and politically.
We can work with other non-governmental organizations and collaborate with other stakeholders in community development to achieve the set goals and objectives.
We raise awareness in education, sanitation, civic socialization topics through campaigns, mass mobilization, collaboration and networking with communities and their members, individuals, agencies, and the government.
